How to Get to Merzouga /

One of the main worries about our
clients is the fact Sahara Desert is somehow isolated and sometimes it
can be difficult to reach our region. Here you have a map in how to
get to our hotel, this is a Google Sattelite Map of the suroundings of Erg Chebbi
dunes, the dunes of Merzouga. You can notice on the map, the orange
lines are the dunes limits, you can notice also the two villages,
Merzouga below of Hassilabied, or the village
of the white well. Its basicaly very easy to reach us and you can
easily make it in one full day from large distance cities in Morocco,
or in half day for closer locations like Errachidia, Ouarzazate,
Zagora and even Fès. Making the road directly straight from Marrakesh
can be easily done but you'll drive the whole day. We suggest you to
stop somewhere on the way like Ouarzazate, Dades Valley in Boulmane,
Fint Oasis near Ouarzazate.
The road to Merzouga is made of asphalt so now fears to drive into the
heart of Sahara with small vehicles, for the most adventurous with 4x4
you can directly take the desert tracks off from Rissani or even
Erfoud.

How to reach Auberge Sahara?
On the road to Merzouga, just a few kms from the village, you will
reach the road sign to turn right into the village of Hassilabied. You
can see our hotel sign also on the road and you can choose to take our
road that will take you directly to the front of the hotel. Either the
way, you'll have to drive 2.5km in desert tracks, easy, just go
straight in the direction of the dunes you'll be seeing already in the
horizon. |
